First month of band

I thought at first that band would be at least a bit hard. After the first month though, it was actually quite easy. At the moment, we're practicing our Christmas piece. It's 'Christmas in September' as Mr. Warren would put it. We found out that we can't sightread worth beans. We found that out the hard way. The poor trumpets. We also practiced the scales. More than last year that's for sure. All 12 not including the chromatic scale. I don't know why, but I was kinda excited. Then again it could be because of my love for music. Last week we had chair auditions. I ended up in 6th chair. To tell you the truth, I was hoping for 7th, or last. I guess that's it for this week.
